Bushnell Excursion 8x28 Binoculars

From E.T. in Missouri:

Nice portable pair.
Rating: 3 (of 5)

These Bushnell binoculars are the first "good" roof prism binoculars to really consider. The eyecups have a thin coating glued over a metal frame - sturdy enough, but the thin skin can come off (mine are a year old, so they may have improved that). In general though the optics are fine.

Mike in Houston adds:

Good for the money
Rating: 3 (of 5)

These are a decent little pair of binoculars for the money. The optical quality is acceptable for moderate use and the construction was better than I expected. They are perfect to take to the duck lease where they will likely get dropped in the mud and banged around; at this price I don’t feel like I have to baby them the way I would with other, higher quality, binoculars. A bit heavier than others in this size, but I equate a bit of extra weight with added durability. The padded neck strap was a nice surprise, too!
